A 16 year veteran of the entertainment industry, Scott has spent the last 12 years working in the digital video and gaming space, with experience encompassing strategy, content creation and acquisition, distribution and marketing.
Previously as VP of Content Programming and Marketing at Sony Network Entertainment, Scott worked with over 60 partners globally to bring content onto PlayStation Network, Bravias, Blu-ray players and mobile devices. He also managed the original content business on those emerging platforms. Prior to joining Sony, Scott was at Microsoft and launched Xbox LIVE’s Video Marketplace in 10 countries. He led strategy, content programming, marketing and partner relationships. While at Xbox LIVE, Scott created the Xbox LIVE Independent Video Channel for original digital content. He acquired and launched The Guild, Horror Meets Comedy and Girls Go Geek.
Before Xbox LIVE, Scott managed business development and marketing for the U.S. Army’s video game America’s Army. Previous to the Army, Scott led video game licensing and online marketing for a startup film distribution company and started his own digital content company that focused on creating multi-platform genre entertainment for exploitation across the web, games and TV. He started his career working in film and TV development at Paramount Pictures and Chris O’Donnell’s production company at Warner Bros.
Scott holds a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America and International Academy of Web Television
